Week 10 Simply Ming Chicken and Zuccini
The chicken thighs were really good super juicy. The Breast weren't as good I thought but I'm a dark meat lover! The zucchini was good and i love d the sauce! The perfect balance of tart and sweet to sooth the wondering pallet. Can't wait till next week!
It was so fun to go to the Chinese Food Mart in preparation for this meal. I look forward to going again. There was so many interesting things that they sell there.
My favorite was the sauce. It was a Hoison Sauce that we marinated the chicken in. It was really good. It was especially good on the rice as a side dish. The only ingredients in the sauce were ginger 1 tablespoon, 1/2 of a cut up onion, 2 tablespoons of garlic, salt and pepper, 2 cups of Hoison sauce, and some hot sauce.
We had both chicken breasts and chicken thighs. Carl really likes the thighs so we HAD to get both. Carl and I ended up liking the thighs and Linda and Jamie liked the Chicken Breast.
We turn up the heat next week. I can't wait. I think we are doing lamb gyros. Are we sure this is Asian?
